Today I finally found some spare time to do a complete revamp of my website!
I hadn’t done anything to it in over a year so it really was necessary… The site was about psp and incredimailbackgrounds… something I was totally into for a couple of years but not anymore.
I gave the website a new identity by making it… quilty.
I downloaded lovely graphics of bears that are quilting and sewing and I started to put everything together.
I realize that not all the links are to updated and/or full pages, but the begin is there and now it is to me to keep it up to date.
Feel free to go and have a look here and than come back to me and leave me a comment telling me what you think of it so far
.
As said yesterday, today it is koninginnedag. It is a holiday to celebrate the birthday of our former queen Juliana. When her daughter took over the crown she made her mothers birthday a national holiday and called it queensday. When our Queen resigns her crown and gives it to her first born son… we will have King for the first time in many many years. But I do hope that queensday will survive and be celebrated for long times to come.
Tomorrow I will go visit my friend Rian, she has had a surgery for tonselremovement yesterday.
Talk to you all later this week!

But he doesn’t want to go to the vet…. Guess how my arms and hands look? Yes indeed, he scratched every inch of my arms, punched wholes in my favorite t-shirt with his nails and after that he crawled under the couch to never be seen again. He has some bladder problems and I hope he will be ok. I went to the vet anyway, and all he could do is give me pills and some plastic stuff for in his litter box. Yeah, right if I am not able to catch him without getting scratched, how do they expect me to give that darn cat a pill…. Correction… 2 pills a day!????!
Tomorrow morning he will be getting his medicine, even if that means all hell will break lose…. And I am sure it will, LOL…
Yesterday ( hubby’s birthday ) was a wonderful day, as said; we went to “ de Keukenhof “ in Lisse (NL) and we had lots of fun watching all these flowers, and hear all those people talk in Dutch, German, French, English, Norwegian, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, Moroccan…. And all the other languishes that I could not define…lol
I tried to make a couple of pictures from my little princess, but she was to overwhelmed with the smells of all these flowers, the only thing she could do was laugh out loud… very loud!

My precious in the middle of tulips and hyacinths
After we had seen all these tulips, hyacinth’s and all the other beautiful flowers, we went to visit my dear friend Rian. Together with her mother, they surprised my husband with a dinner and I must say it was really great dining with them!
The restaurant was slow with serving food though, which meant that girly had no hunger anymore and all she wanted to do was sleep… poor thing, too much impressions for 1 day….
After dinner we went home and princess slept most part of the trip back.

Yesterday I got my mothers day present, yes I know, it isn’t mothers day YET! lol
The day before yesterday, my husband asked me what I would like to get for mothers day and I told him that what I really would like would be EQ6. I also told him that is was to expensive for mothers day and that I would save money to get me a copy in a couple of months…
Yesterday the doorbell rang and the postman gave me a package when I answered the door…. it was addressed to my husband but it came from an online quilt-shop….. hmmmmmmm…..
All I could do was yell at my husband to come downstairs and open this package…. I was sooooooooo curious what he had ordered at a quilt-store… he is after all my non-quilting-husband-hero-kind-of-guy.
Imagine my surprise when he opened the box and out came: a Wacom drawing-tablet and… EQ6 !!!!!
Now I can draw and think up my own quilt layouts/blocks/borders…..wowie
Tomorrow we are going to ” de Keukenhof “ to go see spring-flowering bulbs and other plants. It is my dear hubby’s 46th birthday tomorrow! After visiting the flowers, we will go to a dear friend of mine: Rian, for some tea and biscuits ( in his case coffee and biscuits ). Rian’s mother will be there also, but he doesn’t know about that. Rian’s mom is my little girls adoptive grandmother. Long story short version: my mom died last year and there is no contact whatsoever with my husband parents, Rian’s mom volunteered to be my princesses adoptive granny….isn’t that great?!?
where was I? oh yeah… tea and biscuits… that he knows, but the fact that adoptive granny will be there too is something he doesn’t know…. Why is she there? well… to take the birthday-boy out for dinner and we can come along…lol. So, he will be surprised tomorrow when granny is there AND when he hears that we are surprising him with a dinner….. now the one thing I hope he doesn’t do before tomorrow morning is reading this blog……. (*ü*)
I’ll let you all know how our Tripp to ” de keukenhof ” went, and the dinner….and the surprising part of the day…
Stay safe and CU next time around!
